This Privacy Policy describes how Rootsoft ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُون / Afala Yatadabbaroon (the "App") — a Quran companion for reflection with a full mushaf, tafsir, recitations, shared khatmas, radio, prayer times, Qibla, azkar, sebha, and related features. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data

With your permission, the App may access your device location to:

• Calculate prayer times for your geographic area
• Determine and display the Qibla direction

You can disable location access in your device or App settings. Prayer times and Qibla accuracy may then depend on a manual city/country selection or a default location.

1.2 Usage Data

We may collect anonymous information about how you use the App (for example feature usage patterns) to improve performance and develop new features. This may include processing by Google analytics services.

1.3 Preferences and Local Storage

The App stores settings and preferences on your device to personalize your experience, such as preferred reciter, font size, bookmarks, last reading position, and azkar/sebha preferences. Much of this stays on your device unless needed for cloud-backed features you use while signed in.

1.4 Internet Access for Content

The App uses internet access to load tafsir content, stream recitations and Quran radio, and sync features that require network connectivity.

1.5 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Payment card or banking details for core App use
• Your contacts, photos, or SMS content
• Microphone recordings for radio/Quran playback

2. How We Use Your Information

• Core features: Provide mushaf reading, tafsir, recitations, shared khatmas, radio, bookmarks, azkar, sebha, prayer times, and Qibla
• Personalization: Remember your preferences and reading progress
• Improvement: Analyze anonymous usage to improve performance and features

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share anonymous or aggregated information with service providers who help us operate and analyze the App, and we may disclose information when required by law.
